Where to Eat in Mykonos

From iconic beachfront tables to the tavernas locals actually go to — our shortlist of places worth your evening.

Mykonos has one of the best dining scenes in the Mediterranean — and some of the hardest tables to get in August. This is our working shortlist. For the sought-after spots, ask us early: securing the right table at the right hour is exactly what our concierge does.

Our honest opinion first

Here's the truth from someone who eats on this island all season: wherever you eat in Mykonos, the food is genuinely good. By all means try Nōema, and dinner at Zuma is always worth it — but give the traditional tavernas a real chance too. Kiki's Tavern, Limnios and Apagio for fresh fish will give you some of the most honest, memorable meals of your trip — often at a fraction of the price.

Sunset & Little Venice

Book a waterfront table in Little Venice for the hour before sunset — cocktails with the sea splashing beneath you is a Mykonos rite of passage. Arrive early or have us reserve; the front row goes first.

Late night

After midnight, do as the island does: souvlaki in Town. A gyros at a classic grill house on the way home is the true Mykonian nightcap.

Want the impossible table, or a private chef at your villa instead? That's our job.
